This Power Coil 50 shaft is designed with a high modulus carbon fiber surface layer oriented in a spiral direction down the shaft for more uniform bending properties during the swing. The neutral "hoop wind" virtually eliminates the oscillation of the head resulting in more consistent contact and reduced shot dispersion. The Power Coil surface layer is oriented in a direction that allows it to load in tension while the club is being twisted during the swing. This imparts a tightening of the outer fibers for a more efficient energy transfer to the ball and greater distance.
